Application Process

Application Procedure

Everyone is free to come, but only once you’re inside—so how does that work?

01

Apply online

Make sure to read up on consent, awareness, and sexpositivity! Tell us why you should come to the party and answer some important questions!

02

Buy a ticket online

If we’re on the same page, you’ll get the chance to buy a ticket!

03

Feedback round for your outfits (optional)

Be your hottest self!
If you’re unsure whether your outfit fits our dress code—send us a photo and get feedback (yay or nay!)

04

On party night, pack your ticket, photo ID, and outfit photo

Bring a cloth tote bag for changing clothes, and don’t forget your ticket, photo ID, (if you haven’t already received feedback) a photo of your outfit, and everything you need for a night of dancing, cuddling, and being happy!

05

Conquer the strictest door in Graz!

If you don’t answer our questions in line with the concept, the door stays closed! For a A+ with a star, it’s best to come with your phone cameras taped over—otherwise, we’ll do it for you.

06

Party!

Celebrate yourselves and everyone else! Respect boundaries! Love one another!

07- ∞

Go home happy and come (back) again!

No-Photo-Policy

Because discretion is important to us at the party, we uphold a strict no-photo policy. That means:
Your phone cameras will be taped over at the entrance. Or even better: come with your phone camera already taped over and save us a little work and everyone else a little time waiting.
Anyone who violates the no-photo policy will be kicked out. As strict—as simple. By the way, this also applies to the entrance area/queue and to videos. If you notice someone taking photos or videos anyway, please let the Awareness Team know! We won’t be taking any photos during the party either, neither for our private photo albums, nor for social media, nor for any other purposes. So the only ones who’ll get to see you shining in your outfits are those who are actually there in person, enjoying the moment with you. Graz isn’t (yet!) Berlin, but as Lutz Leichsenring (spokesperson for the Berlin Club Commission) once put it so aptly:

„Clubs that protect guests’ privacy by means of a strict photography prohibition ensure that the participants of the events show more openness and act without a façade. Thus, the musical experience and the personal interaction with like-minded people is at the forefront.“

Door Policy

Yes, our concept includes a strict door policy. Who knows, maybe it’s even the strictest in town?! If you want to experience what happens behind the door, you must be of legal age and go through an online application process to get a personalized card. This means the card cannot be transferred to anyone else. And there’s no door sales either. Not even through the back door. For anyone…except maybe for personal assistance.

Your ID will be checked at the door. After all, we want to make sure you really are who you say you are. We’ll also ask you a few questions to verify that you’ve truly understood the concept and are in a state of apparent sound mind. If not, your ticket will be invalidated. If you haven’t submitted a photo of your outfit for the pre-check within the specified timeframe, we’ll ask you to show us a photo of it at the door at the latest. If it does not comply with the dress code, you will unfortunately not be allowed in and the ticket will be invalidated. The same applies if you violate our No-Photo Policy or our Awareness Concept through intrusive or discriminatory behavior. By the way, if you are turned away at the door, there will be no refund for the ticket.

What do I need to bring?

  • tote bag. We have a coat check where you can leave your street clothes in a tote bag, purse, or backpack.
  • Ticket. No ticket, no party. Not at the chocolate factory, and not here with us.
  • Photo ID. We’ll check at the entrance to make sure you’re actually the person whose application we selected. So please bring a photo ID.
  • Small bag. Since lingerie and party outfits often don’t have pockets, we recommend bringing a small bag for money/valuables and personal hygiene items. If needed, you can also find menstrual products at our Awareness Team and in our gender-neutral restrooms. Our darkroom is stocked with condoms, dental dams, and lube. If you prefer (or need) specific flavors, sizes, or colors, please add them to your own shopping list. The same goes for toys of all kinds. Sharing is caring… but not in this case. Just no.
  • Cash. It’s now possible to pay by card as well. However, you’ll need some small change for the coat check or other spontaneous expenses. So please make sure you have enough on hand to save yourself the 130-meter walk to the nearest ATM (and, above all, the hassle of changing clothes before and after).
  • Shoes. You don’t need to bring any special ones (unless you want to)—you’re welcome to keep your street shoes on. To minimize the risk of injury, we just want to make sure you wear shoes and don’t dance barefoot in the club.
  • Everything else you need for a night of partying and to stay healthy. But a quick reminder: Even though the party is an escape from everyday life and the Awa team is happy to talk to you about safer use and harm reduction, the party isn’t an escape from Austrian law. So whatever’s illegal on the street stays illegal in the club. Just sayin’.
